Original Ojibway Hotel, built in 1906

Original Ojibway Hotel, built in 1906

This is the original first structure of the Ojibway Hotel, before any additions for the tower.   Note the sign on the bottom of the middle window.  It says "The Ojibway" Point au Baril Hotel Co. on it.

The postcard was mailed to Geo. C. Miller of Franklin, Pa in 1908.  Henry and Louise say they are staying at this hotel and this is the only spot for fishing.  We caught 10 2 lb. black bass in less than 2 hours.
